Service Description
Toddle Talk Classes teach British Sign Language signs that you can use in your day to day communication with your baby/toddler, both before they can speak and throughout their entire speech journey. Taught in a purpose-built Studio, each week's class follows a different theme, and signs are emphasised through songs, instruments, puppets, sensory toys and stories. The classes are fun and engaging. Classes have a different themes each week, with sign language and nursery rhymes at the heart, but tailored to suit younger babies, with an increased focus on sensory stimulus and a calm, intimate setting. Gentle colour changing lights and the use of textures and sounds will excite and engage the babies, while your singing and interaction will strengthen the bond between you as you nestle down together for the hour-long class. There will be 30 mins of singing and signing, followed by refreshments and a catch up. Baby signing can help to: Encourage communication between parent and baby Cut down your baby's frustrations of not being understood Strengthen the parent and baby bond Assist with developing sensory, social literacy and numeracy skills Stimulate your baby's excitement to join in and copy/learn, understanding more about their world Allows parents/carers to meet other parents and babies/toddlers and share experiences Prices are £8.50 per family per session, with half term fees payable upfront in order to secure your booking. Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
When booking a term of Toddle Talk sessions, payment for a half term will be required upfront to secure your place. For new customers following a free trial session, payment for the remainder of the half term will be required ahead of your first session. For returning customers re-enrolling for the new term, payment will be required before the end of the previous term. Failure to do so may mean that your place is given to someone on the waiting list. These terms are to ensure class numbers can be managed ahead of the new term starting and aims to prevent last minute cancellations of re-enrolment and disruptions to the start of the new term. If you are unable to make sessions in the upcoming new term, you are welcome to do a catch-up class on another day/time, if there is space available. If at the time of booking for the new term, I am notified of any dates you are unable to attend, you will not be charged for the first 2 dates. Any subsequent dates in addition to these 2, you will be charged for. Once the term has been paid for and started, I’m afraid I cannot apply a refund or credit for any sessions you may then realise you are unable to attend. If something that arises at the last minute and you are unable to attend a session, again I’m afraid refunds and credits will not be possible. Please notify me as soon as you can if you know you will not be able to attend an upcoming session, as this allows me to put trials in and to plan the toy bags accordingly. Thank you for taking the time to read the terms and thank you in advance for complying.
